It is better than those other 2 turds, but it would have been a lot better if Despised Icon didn't do it a couple of years ago on The Healing Process. This shit sounds similar to me and it's obvious they have a deathcore sound going on.

Yeah I read it. That guy's ego seems to be out of control. I don't know what world he lives in, but the only excuse for songs like these 2 is on a mainstream nu metal record that 105.7 the X is gonna play. Feel? Dynamics? That song didn't have either. It felt like the shit and the dynamics were Flo trying to overplay to shit riffs. It's not closed minded, it's fans being fucking pissed that they're blatantly changing a sound to something that is blatantly not Cryptopsy. Open our ears? Mine were wide open and they were bombarded by pure shit. I'm gonna listen to the whole album and I don't expect my opinion to change much. This other new song doesn't have the feel and dynamics he mentioned. It has a robotic deathcore feel and a feeling of something that has already been done.

Seriously, all 3 songs that have been put out are all obvious attempts to cash in on the current trends in the metal scene. Along with Flo's faux-hawk, some loser whore that plays keyboards apparently, and the chaotic tunes that lack any of the feel or groove of true Cryptopsy, its plain to see that the people in this band grew tired of playing real death metal and wanted to try and hop on the bandwagon and maybe grab a few extra bucks along the way, which i can understand, if they weren't still called Cryptopsy. This shit about people being close minded is a bunch of bullshit. He's just mad that the majority of fans aren't naive enough to buy into the crap about "moving into a new direction" and "elevating their music to the next level."

So disappointing.
