245 for bench. i guess thats not bad for someone who hates chest exercises and never maxes out.

That's not bad, what's your weight? I'm not a big fan of chest exercises either, but I've been powerlifting a lot this past year...I weigh about 180 with clothes etc..., and last week I got 3 sets of 8 with 275 standard.

i havent max since the first time (4 year period) i lifted which was 315lbs. i can do 225lbs 8 times for a 3 set now, i dont go heavier than that

of course it makes a difference if you dont use youre legs for support.

went to the gym with a friend of mine about 2 weeks ago...he is about 5'8" 175lbs....he put on 315lbs and i chuckled....until he did it 6 times without any help from me. he shut me up quick

i did 245 again the other day but i know that i can definitely do more than that. I had no shakes and i hit the rungs and that didn't phase me. I know sometimes that can kill you when you are lifting heavy.

i wanna say that i could hit 260-265 but i'm not sure. I just started lifting with a friend of mine that is 5'6 220 and that benches 508. I need to improve my overall strength and he'll definitely help.
