They mention 'time references'...but that's about it. At the same time, you'd only have a really big problem with that unless you're already assuming that it's fake. I kind of accept that there's people who spend a lot of time looking into whether the tapes that come out are real or not.

Wrong.

I'd have a real big problem with it also if questions of authenticity were not reported... as they have been before... to serve any particular purpose.

And why is that? Because our government has never made a mistake... or told a lie? What exactly makes you so absolutely certain it is authentic??? It may very well be, but I'd like to know why you are so quick to believe it.

My point is... it was always discussed before... it was not discussed at all this time. Why?

I'd have a real big problem with it also if questions of authenticity were not reported... as they have been before... to serve any particular purpose.

That's why i used the word "really." Not that it's unimportant...but it's not necessarily a huge deal. I kind of figure i'm already aware that teams of people analyze these tapes when they come out...and if they're decided to be inauthentic it usually gets reported. I don't need them to tell me that fact again in every article i read.

(yes dwarn, we know they're ALL fake since he's obviously been dead for a billion years, blah blah blah)

You don't? You don't see how that can be used as a tool of propaganda?

Yes, people analyze the tapes... but then... people analyzed whether or not Iraq had WMD. Look where that got us.
