The crate serves as a power amp now since that's basically what it is. It's getting the job done fairly well now, but I know I can get a better sound with a real power amp. This Digitech 2120 is awesome though.

When we recorded I used the studios Mesa Triple Rec.

I forgot he works there. I should go talk to him. They don't have any guitar power amps in stock there yet, but they have only been open for a little bit now.
