Goodbye Hawks. I was hoping to see that series go to seven with the Hawks taking it, oh well. Mike Smith really is quite a story this season. Guy came out of nowhere, I figured he would've ended up as a career backup or in the AHL after finishing in Tampa Bay.

I took the hawks to win it all back when the season started, they seemed to go out without much fight in this game. Surprising considering how close all the previous game were in that series. Mike smith stole the show, first playoff series win in the history of the franchise?? Thats almost impossible to believe.

First playoff series win as the Coyotes. They had plenty when they were still in Winnipeg, which technically still counts as the same franchise. Still, 1996 is a long time ago.
