Punk/Dragon match RULED. The clothesline from Punk as Danielson was on the rope made me jump out of my chair.

Pretty stupid that Cody lost the strap to a barely-around 45 year old, but whatever. Overall not a bad PPV.

Christian hasn't been around because he's been hurt. I have no problem with Cody losing to him.

Christian was also involved in the best WWE feud of 2011.

I don't dislike Christian or anything, I just really really like Cody and the IC is my favorite championship, and aside from that I think he's good for the title.

Having said that, though, titles are pretty much pointless anymore which is a real bummer because I don't see any real way for them to make them more relevant now. It'd be one thing if they were taking a backseat for a year to concentrate on story, but championships are pretty much pointless in the WWE. I hate it

Did dragon get the belt?

No, but he had Punk in the Yes lock. Punk was able to put Dragon on his back while the lock was in place. Punk tapped right after the count to three.

I really like what they've done in the Punk/Dragon matches with the finishes. The last time they had a match, they were both pinned to the 3 count so both of them technically won. The WWE keeping them on equal footing as far as "how good" they are is good for perception purposes, I really like it.

Now I might get to see Dragon win the strap at No Way Out!

This bIg show storyline is fucking awful The whole bit was any superstar who interferes with the match is fired but big show was "rehired" Saturday? How can the writers blow it that bad?
