So with pronger out the flyers will be looking to trade for a defenseman. Without pronger they have four solid blueliners in timmonen, coburn, carle and mez. But one of their biggest weaknesses in the 2010 Cup run was their third D pair. Parent and bartulis were terrible and theres no way holmgren will roll the dice again with the candidates they have now (lilja, walker, gustevvson, bourdon, marshall). So who?

If girouxs out long term theyll need a forward too and a cheap solid option for D depth like mccabe, grossman, lydman would be likely i think.
