The bible was written in the bronze age middle east. Most of its teachings are completely irrelevant thousands of years later. You dont only follow some of it because you are a good person with a moral filter, you couldnt follow it all if you tried.
Because the book is so old and stupid, christians are forced to either cherry-pick and become watered down cowards or follow every hateful word and become despised by the rest of the civilised world. It is time to pick a better book to base your life on.
