Well i know one guy my age who has gone blind from diabetes and another one of my friends mom died from it after having years of physical issues and then having her feet cut off by the doctors to try and keep her alive. I'd say that's a disability. Hep-C can also be debilitating depending on the severity and type and if this lady has a combination of the two she won't be around for too long.
But isn't the blindness and lack of feet the disability? I know people with diabetes that are fine.
He went blind due to complications from diabetes. The other guys mom lost her feet due to diabetes but before that couldn't even get out of bed and then she died.

Diabetes can have drastic results on an individual, like above. Doctors don't even really know what causes it, because in some cases it is genetic and/or inherited. But having a healthy lifestyle can curb it or stop it in some cases. If you are going blind or you need appendages removed, yes. . .that is disabling.
Hep C well, that can be prevented in most cases. Same with AIDS/HIV. I get those claims too. THey usually get denied in situations where you contract the Disease through Drug Use or unprotected sex, but even that has it's loop holes.
My job just brings certain imperfections in Society and People in general to light a lot more often than not. The system is fucked. DOn't plan on getting sick anytime soon. The disability process for most people with legitimate cases usually takes an average of 2.5 years before the Gov't say " Yes ! you are disabled! Here is a small chunk of money a month to cover about 50% of your total expenses."
A lot of people lose their houses/cars/families becaues of this process. So to have a Mother claim ADD for her 3 year old. Or some fat overweight Cunt claim Obeseity and Diabetes as a disability only because she didn't know when to say when or put the fucking fork down, It's can get a little trying.
And don't plan on retiring. Work till you are dead. If Social Security still exists in the future, don't expect to be able to survive on it.

a) yes, you should be able to get financial assistance for some of them b) yes, they could potentially prevent you from working and lower your quality of life as a whole
in massachusetts and new york, you have to get a WHOLE LOT of medical documentation before you see any financial benefit. not sure how loose the rules are elsewhere, but circumstances have to be pretty legit in order to qualify.

I know it can be really bad, lot's of people in my family have had it, but I'm just trying to say that just having diabetes isn't really disabling. Other things caused by diabetes can be though.

people really confuse anxiety and stress alot . the anxiety i feel and if it snowballs and turns me more and more into a hermit will eventually make me house ridden . i feel that could eventually lead me to not being able to provide for myself.
