i've actually bought a bunch of shoes from that AMI store place!

and i dig buckles.
my thing in finding the perfect pair of boots a couple of years ago was that they laced up.
they've been awesome, but i think i'd rather pay $24 than $125 (like mine were)!

i look on ami store all the time but this is my first purchase. a lot of other sites carry the same shoes as they do.
my favorite boots are knee high with a small heel, lace up AND have a buckle. i love them to death but they're beat to shit so they're just my frump around boots now. i only paid $30 for them too.
it's so hard to find the perfect boot.

i think you may have actually found something more awful-looking than any sort of slip-on sneaker

Nah, the boots in this thread are ridiculous. These look comfy and warm, but I do admit they look like slippers.

of course they seem comfy, that's the point of an orthopedic shoe...so good choice, i guess.

went shopping today...since i bought new dresses, of course i needed new shoes. i got 4" black patent pointed-toe heels. i feel like a work-appropriate dominatrix. the kind of shoes you want to wear when you're naked. but, they're completely practical for my every day for years.

are they those crazy long narrow pointy toes or regular pointy ones? i can't get down with the former. my friend jess wears them all the time and they look so goofy and uncomfortable. wouldn't they make your toes like pile on top of each other all squished like?

kinda like these:

what is that all about????

ewww, definitely not like those. it's a delicate point. toe cleavage is involved. those are like "milfy in minnesota" heels, haha.

toe cleavage?

For some reason this irritates the shit out of me, I think it looks like the shoe is too small for the foot.
