The government's case will hinge on how well formed their "plan" was, if at all, what steps they had taken toward completing it, etc. While I agree with the article's point [and Dwarn's] that this was largely the entrapment of these idiots, I would need to know more details before I could excuse them from what could have been a bloodbath and a pointless destruction of a key piece of our already inadequate infrastructure. I'm open to the possibility that this was completely fabricated, but it just doesn't look like that so far.

Also, the ELF and the ALF are actually admirable organizations with decent ideologies, goals and aspirations. I'm not sure they really want to align themselves with these people if even a fraction of the government's case turns out to be true. Before they portray them as martyrs, they may want to remember that these guys sound like exactly the kind of loose cannons that bring unwanted attention to their own events and detract from their missions. The government does have a general policy and conspiracy to discredit their actions, which is even more of a reason to not jump to their defense. It sounds like they just liked blowing shit up, and the FBI gave them the means to do something really big and destructive - and they went along with it. I don't care what they may say now, any time anyone brings C4 into the conversation, you're talking about the possibility of killing people collaterally, if only by reckless endangerment.

As for the government trying to diminish the May Day events, this is America, no one gave a fucking mcnugget about those anyway. If that was the government's 'big plan', it totally backfired because coverage would have faded into the next Kate Upton's boobies story if not for this, and they would have been better served setting up people with actual ties to subversive organizations instead of the five fingers of the Body Odor Gang. Sleepy, Dopey, Curly, Lefty and Shifty may look scary to 10 year olds, but I'd be more worried about them stealing my bike to pawn for meth than I would of them fomenting revolution.

Yeah I'm not saying these dude's are completely innocent. I in no way support blowing up bridges, it would be pointless, endanger people and just adds more fuel to the anarchists want chaos, rape, and murder in the streets fire.

These guys really seem like they watched fight club too many times though.

At one point when tensions were very high, McDavid tried to calm Anna and Weiner down, saying “relax and chill out and maybe come back and chitchat later.” Weiner agreed, offering to make pasta. Anna flipped out.

Once the written response advised Anna was not a government agent, we then changed to a guilty verdict soon thereafter."

Anti-immigration militia leader J.T. Ready killed his girlfriend and three others during a violent domestic argument as someone in the home called 911, Arizona police said today.

Three generations were among the dead. Ready's live-in girlfriend of two years, Lisa Mederos, 47, was killed, along with her daughter Amber Mederos, 23, and granddaughter Lilly, 1.

The body of Amber Mederos' boyfriend, Jim Hiott, 24, a veteran who served in Afghanistan, was found outside of the house near where Ready is believed to have killed himself, police said.

Police in Gilbert, Ariz., were joined by FBI agents and members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force in sorting through the carnage of the Wednesday killings.

Military-grade weapons and ammunition along with two barrels of chemicals found in the backyard have been removed from Ready's home.

"Right now we believe it's a domestic violence related situation," Sgt. Bill Balafas of the Gilbert, Arizona Police Department told ABCNews.com
