I loved this pickup from the beginning. Liked him on other teams, like him even better here.

any guy that can bunt for base hits 7/10 attempts is a commodity. because it works well in sacrifice situations, just trying to get the runner over and beats out a single, 2 on no outs. good shit, solid baseball.

also, as usual the al east and nl east are the two toughest divisions. but seriously who could have predicted the orioles season so far

they've had good young prospects for the last 5 years, but with that division.... yeah, true.

Tigers are playing basically .500 ball right now after the first 40 games. I'm comfortable with that. There is still a ton of games to be played and to turn it on. Verlander is still killing it though and Scherzer is coming into his own.
