What are your experiences with these? Is it always such a pain in the ass and huge waste of money?


All of the bridesmaids in the wedding I'm in have agreed on a dress that I can't wear. They're all like "you can get it tailored". There is no kind of tailoring that would make this dress wearable for me, and fuck you for thinking I'll drop $180 on a dress that I will look like a whore in and then extra to tailor it.

it looks like a trangle bikini top, the way it's cut you can't wear a bra because it's too low cut and unless they put a panel across the top (which would ruin the look of the dress and would make mine different) my boobs would absolutely be hanging out. Glad that's okay with eveyrone. It's not okay with me, at all.

My only experience so far was okay. My cousin's only requirements were that it was black and floor length. She picked black so that we could wear them again but the fact that it's floor length pretty much rules that out. It's such a bummer because I absolutely love the dress I picked but it's not the kind of material that would be a good canidate to get cropped. :(

My wife works in the wedding industry, and I love all of the waste it entails. $$$

My wedding ruled. The marriage? Not so much.

This doesn't help you though.




I'm in poster Shostakovich's wedding later this year. He has yet to tell me what I'm wearing. Probably something gay.

i like when the bride selects a color and basic style and lets the bridesmaids choose their own dresses so each one is a little different.

She said we could do that, but every single bridesmaid except me wants that dress and I would be the odd man out, regardless of if I chose another dress or had a panel put into that one that went across to hide a bra/massive cleav. I don't want to feel like an asshole or look skanky.
