I think Dawson should keep the belt. No foul was the refs ruling, Hopkins hopped onto Dawsons shoulder, Dawson shoved him off, there was no slam. Shoulder shoves like that are completely legal to create space in between boxers. No foul, Hopkins couldn't continue so it is a TKO. Fucked up as it is, would be even more insulting to boxing fans to rule it a no contest and strip Dawson. He has been trying to get a fight going with Bhop for over two years now. Bhop has been known to fake injuries before ( Joe Calzaghe ).

I think it was a little more than a shoulder shove and I doubt Bhop was faking.
