and this actually worked out great. I put the bow in the back though, it looked silly in the front.

Thank you! Its the only time I've ever lucked out on that site, ever. I'll never buy from there again though.

I"m not big on dresses, but I've been a fan of pencil skirts, and other high waisted skirts lately. Trying to get away from my usual jeans and t-shirt year round look. I have a long torso though, and have a hard time finding dresses with the right hem length for my body. any suggestions for summery dresses, that are not in prints?

Danielle - where do you get your dresses? I generally love your style and didn't have luck with links posted in this thread.

honestly, i'm an ebay junkie. i got that striped dress off there and last year i scored my favorite betsey johnson dress for 40 bucks, brand new.

when i have the money- i'm a big fan of mode merr, heartbreaker, and pinup girl. they cater a lot to my tacky print needs. all the above is fairly expensive... which is why i love ebay.
once in a while i find a cute, cheap wiggle dress on junior's sites like wet seal. and i don't care how old i am- go jane has some great cheap heels.

Bright colors and light fabrics? I think you could pull off patterns, though.
