Youll be fine. Get your skin as hot as you can get it beforehand, use a shaving brush if youve got one, and when you use your razor dont apply any pressure whatsoever. It really isnt like using a normal razor. It does the work for you. Also, short strokes. Youll work it out.

Good choice in a razor. If you bought the Merkur blades they will tug a little bit on the first pass, so don't worry if it feels a little rough - that's just how those blades are. Hold the razor perpendicular to your face and rock it down slowly until you hit the 45 degree angle - then like Davey said, use short strokes. After a few shaves your muscle memory will be solid.

Also, don't use shitty razors, I can tell a pretty big difference and my skin isn't even sensitive.
