I think it might not be the best idea in general, like dating co-workers and such.

I thought "generally" implied situations outside of my world. Regardless, you can't deny if she starts hooking up with this kid and then they suddenly stop liking each other, shit is going to get awkward.

Not arguing the opinion, just the reasoning behind it.

well, I wasn't even living with him, so I guess I can't attest to it personally, but I've had some friends that have had pretty bad experiences from dating roommates or living with people they've only been dating for a short period of time (which is an entirely different story). One of my dude friends lost his dog over it. I did find it a little odd that a 6'5" male had such a ridiculous attachment to a Pomeranian, but he ended up with a broken heart and no dog.

Everyone should have some sort of distance rule.

Couldn't tell you. The bitch was mental. I'm assuming he had a good reason for leaving it, I think it must have come down to his balls and a stapler or leaving without the dog. He doesn't like to talk about it. Still salty.

if my girl wanted to leave and tried to take my pitbull with her i'd stab her in the neck with a knife.

pomeranian or not, that's awful.

we're talking about a guy with an attachment to a pomeranian, you can't expect him to behave rationally here.
