This would totally make a huge difference on this team having both turner and anthony running the floor. Exactly what the sixers need.

They also need to get rid of Brand. It doesn't seem likely for Carmelo to come here. I'm sure it's an outside chance, but Chicago seems to be more of a front runner considering they could likely win a championship a lot sooner than the Sixers could. At this point in his career it doesn't make any sense to take a step down. I wouldn't be surprised if Iguodala gets traded too.

I would endorse this move to the fullest. I'm just concerned what they would have to give up for him?

Its not like the sixers are one player away from a potential championship team, they'll have to give up high draft picks or young talent. I don't think the nuggets will take dalembert and speights.

I'd almost have to imagine that it would be Iguodala, some role players, and future first round picks. Even then, Denver fans would have to feel like they would be losing for the time being.

well the way it looks like right now, melo doesnt want to be in denver anyway, so hes gonna be gone regardless. either to the knicks, bulls or now the sixers. its all about who offers the best package deal for him. i would assume anyway

I hope for the Bulls sake they don't let Noah go. If they can keep him and get Melo I would love to see them destroy the Heat. As much as I love Wade I want to see Lebron fail.

i also agree with the noah comment. hes real good. not a great scorer, but his inside presence and he might be the best rebounder in the nba

Lets hope Denver is dumb enough to take Brand, and either Iguodala/Thaddeus Young

He's also apparently the heart of the team. Breaking of that is always a bad idea.

I don't think they are. They don't need someone like him. K-Mart, Nene, and Birdman are more than enough of a big presence for them. Brand doesn't score like he used to, so he's not really on part with those 3. I hope the best for Denver. In the West they're my favorite team behind the Spurs.

Also, there's this story:

The Sixers have denied any serious talks about Melo.

A near 30 ppg scorer with no leadership qualities. This team had that before, it won't work.
