I thought it was a great film. I do love almodovar in general though.

I guess I wasn't prepared for it to be so horror-esque. I mean, it's definitely not a horror movie, but it made me uncomfortable almost the entire time.

Outside of brothers cheetah scene I didn't find any of it uncomfortable. In fact, I thought it was more erotic than horror.
