Fight Club is a great book but is really the "Intro to Palahniuk" book.

yeah, i expressed an interest in his work to a friend of mine who has read just about every book he's written and he gave me fight club to read. i picked up invisible monsters next on my own. Its really good and filled with many WTF's. Have you read a lot of his stuff?

Choke is his best book by far. The movie was good but didn't really do the book justice. Get that next. Diary is probably my least favorite.

read the whole series , that was the worst one. but it serves its purpose i suppose

I just finished it. It was definately the slowest. Though it really does build on Roland's character. I plan to read the whole series. Gonna pick up Wolves of the Calla at my local library eventually. Reading 'Salem's Lot now.
