Looks pretty cool. more interested in the cartoon then the actually game.

the game looks like a cross between god of war and devil may cry, which is a good thing. i'm going to try the demo a little later.

I didn't play the demo but its getting good reviews. Is it anything like the actual Dante's Inferno or just called that because there are demons or something like that?

Just played the demo and based on that... Game is pretty much like an xbox version of God of War, combo system, being able to build up your skills/add more moves, being able to ride/control creatures, being able to pull enemies towards you with your weapon to then do some serious beatdown. Of course the game does have its little differences too like giving you the choice to absolve or punish your enemies, and in the powerup/skills section you can choose mods/upgrades for both sides. Game is supposed to be (loosely) based on the story and you do go through the nine circles of hell.

Based on the demo I am pretty impressed. Nothing groundbreaking but if you're into God of War and similar games this looks like it will be a really good one. I'll definitely be considering this game when it comes out which looks like will be in February. God of War III still isn't coming out until around March I believe.

I didn't hear anything about this game until just now. Watched some stuff on youtube and it seems extremely similar to GOW. I love those games but I don't think I'll have a ps3 when the new one comes out. But I can't play the demo for Dantes cause I got banned from live....whens the release date?

Cool I'm gonna go pre order this. I'm not really sure about the primary weapon in this though, it doesn't seem as cool or brutal as the blades in GOW

Will definitely be getting this. I saw some game play on G4 and it was sick looking.

penny arcade has had a proverbial field day with this game and the hype around it. so funny.

i just read the plot summary for the game. I'm into it.

I mean Dante wasn't some demon slaying badass in the poem but i can overlook that detail.
