The amount of atheists and freethinkers on this site gives me hope for the future. Real talk.

To me the most important questions to start with are these:

1. Are you following the beliefs handed down to your demographic through the centuries?

2. If so, how can you know/prove/presume that you would believe anything even remotely similar if you belonged to a different demographic?

3. If you recognize that the only logical answer to (2) is "I can't," have you examined the role of tradition and normative behavior in your community/family?

For starters, women are second class human beings, worship is segregated by gender, sex is only for procreation to the point that couples have to ask for a blessing and counseling before ritually creating a child, and their schools are creepy brainwashing factories rife with abuse.

They do have good food, but that's about it.
