Leafs lose opener 4-3 to Habs. Pretty good game all around, Toskala looks a little better although still a little shaky. Stalberg is sick though. I'm hoping a career year for Stajan, hopefully in the 60 point plateau.

Loving the Flames retro jerseys. Calgary is lighting Luongo's show in the first, holy shit.

The Leafs vs Canadiens game earlier was really good.

The season predictions in wednesday's sports section of the Calgary Herald was ridiculous, and in some cases didn't even make sense.

One idiotic analyst predicted Crosby will win the Art Ross Trophy...but Malkin to win the Rocket Richard Trophy. WTF

Malkin lead the league in assists last season, but this idiot thinks he'll lead the league in goals this season, but not win the Art Ross...? That doesn't even make sense.

Same guy also thought Dave Tippet would be the first coach to get fired. Fucking lol, his record with Dallas was 271 Wins 156 Losses 28 Ties 37 OTL, which is outstanding. Plus he signed a four-year contract. Some of these sports analysts are out of their fucking minds.

Okay so one game... and Markov is already out for half of the season.

At least we still have Spacek and Hamrlik to take some 5 on 5 action. We'll need to call up Weber, Carle or Subban if the PP goes dry though.

its super late but i haven't been on here in forever so i'm just going to post my division winners:

In the West:
Central-Hawks
Northwest-Canucks
Pacific-Sharks

In the East:
Atlantic-Penguins
Northeast-Bruins
Southeast-Capitals

i think the Flyers could be the team to beat in the east this year...i hope so.

Also, the Islanders will make the playoffs
