Paul didn't say that if you're talking about him.
no i'm talking about you and your (lack of an) explanation for god not healing any amputee, ever.
.....I'm holding back so hard. All I'm going to tell you is there are cases of God doing this. Rare, very rare, but there are things like this.
what are you holding back? hidden knowledge that proves god heals people; knowledge that would lead pretty much everyone to believe in jesus and therefore be saved from eternal damnation? why would you hold anything back on that?
so please, provide the evidence of your claim.
it doesn't matter. if you can't believe what I just told you, you can't believe what I didn't tell you so no. you're a lost cause.
so you're asking me to abandon science purely on your own word?
remember, i've never said it hasn't or couldn't happen, just that i'm unaware of any cases of this. if there are properly documented cases of this you (and by you i mean organisations that you support) should be putting this to scientists and saying "well?!"
you can't make such an amazing extraordinary claims and not provide evidence. i'm guessing that's what you've done giving the above response, but I'd have thought that even with all our differences you'd be above doing that... i guess not... ?
what do you want me to do? I gave you a news report of someone who couldn't walk. you can't prove miracles, just the results because there is no method to how it happens, it just does.
How do you propose I give you evidence?

We're talking about amputees.
I propose you give me evidence (proper evidence, not stories you've heard or your own personal anecdotes) of people regrowing limbs by posting it on this forum. Thanks.

As always... you talk a good game but when it comes down to brass tacks you turn very very unwilling to present what you claim to know.
Well, this is yet another we can chalk up to matt not having any proof whatsoever. Close thread.

ok matt, could you be courteous enough to not make claims that you refuse to provide evidence of in future? or is that a little too much to ask?

you said you proof provide it and prove us wrong or STFU
There are documented events, but you can't do anything scientific to understand something outside of nature. Here is a BBC report about a woman who had problems walking....click here for link
What also begs the question is in New Testament, the apostle Paul was able to "heal" many people, yet at the same time God wouldn't take away his own physical infirmity that Paul called his "thorn in the flesh."
Of course, Paul does give reason why God didn't take it away but I'm using this as a suggestion for possibilities. God has reasons for what he does and doesn't do and they are always far bigger reasons than we selfishly understand.

what kind of claims are you referring too? all I said is I'm holding back. you could be courteous enough to not make excuses when I do back up my claims. If you make excuses, what's the point of upping the miracle level and giving you stuff for that too? If you can't even believe a persons testimony of something like cancer being healed over night, there's no reason for me to give you anything else.
I've determined that you won't believe what I tell you even when I give you a case documented so there is no point. This thread can be done so far as I'm concerned.

I DID. PAGE 19.
This has nothing to do with amputees. This is someone who couldn't walk who was then able to walk. Something that happens routinely without any supernatural effect, even if you think this case does have that.
It's certainly not proof of healing, and completely irrelevant to my point about god not healing amputees.
