post your supposed evidence or STFU. you keep trying to change the subject when you know you were because got can't heal amputees no matter how hard you pray. it can't happen and you just need to get that through your thick fucking skull. you are wrong about this matt and the reason you are wrong is because you have no evidence of it happening. therefore it hasn't happened because if it would've happened as has been stated before in this thread everyone would start believing in god and how powerful he is.

"I'm often wrong? When is that? are you going to bring up rumbsfield photos 2 years ago or mammal chicken 3 years ago?"

Now why would I bring up things you have actually said? Geez... everyone knows what you actually say doesn't mean anything or prove you right or wrong.

"we are all wrong about the same, but often, those you don't like tend to be highlighted when they do something wrong."

And those who constantly show how little they know about anything outside of their religion... they tend to be highlighted more.. because they tend to be wrong more.

Also... einstein... the rummsfeld incident preceded the Prof. Mammalchicken incident.

"I am the only bible believing, young earth, Christian conservative here. Any small mistake or misword I say will be magnified so only to prove in your own mind a justification for not accepting what I say."

I have no problem with you believing in the bible, being christian, or being conservative. I don't accept what you say because you ahve such a horrid track record and prove yourself over and over to generally be a willfully ignorant fool.

You will notice I didn't include being a young earther in that list. There is good reason for that... you know nothing about geology. You have proven that. You have claimed that earthquakes could upset the fossil record and geological record to the point that it confuses scientists... based on your own guesswork on the issue, not from any actual knowledge.

The problem isn't even that you don't know that much... it is that you are so dead set against learning anything.

"Actually, most everything you say about politics is a contradiction to your own misunderstanding of your belief system."

What does that even mean? I misunderstand my own belief system? Doesn't that mean that YOU would have to know my belief system already? Which basically means my beliefs would have to conform to a stereotype of whatever it is you think I am.

"You're a buddhist that hates everyone. You're a communist fully pro-government anarchist. I'm just stating the facts, I don't dislike you"

Just because I love you as a fellow sentient being doesn't mean I am perfect or that I suffer fools gladly.

Communist? Fully pro-government? Weren't you whining just yesterday that I was too pessimistic about our government?

Also, you aren't stating facts... you are stating your own assumptions.

Paul didn't say that if you're talking about him.

no i'm talking about you and your (lack of an) explanation for god not healing any amputee, ever.

.....I'm holding back so hard. All I'm going to tell you is there are cases of God doing this. Rare, very rare, but there are things like this.

what are you holding back? hidden knowledge that proves god heals people; knowledge that would lead pretty much everyone to believe in jesus and therefore be saved from eternal damnation? why would you hold anything back on that?

so please, provide the evidence of your claim.

it doesn't matter. if you can't believe what I just told you, you can't believe what I didn't tell you so no. you're a lost cause.

so you're asking me to abandon science purely on your own word?

remember, i've never said it hasn't or couldn't happen, just that i'm unaware of any cases of this. if there are properly documented cases of this you (and by you i mean organisations that you support) should be putting this to scientists and saying "well?!"

you can't make such an amazing extraordinary claims and not provide evidence. i'm guessing that's what you've done giving the above response, but I'd have thought that even with all our differences you'd be above doing that... i guess not... ?

what do you want me to do? I gave you a news report of someone who couldn't walk. you can't prove miracles, just the results because there is no method to how it happens, it just does.

How do you propose I give you evidence?

We're talking about amputees.

I propose you give me evidence (proper evidence, not stories you've heard or your own personal anecdotes) of people regrowing limbs by posting it on this forum. Thanks.

If you can't believe that people have been raised from the dead after being dead for a few days, cured from cancer, lame, couldn't see and can, or any of the following, how can you possibly believe anything else I can tell you.

There's no point so I won't say a think. You'll just end up bashing it or making fun of it. I don't care to appease you.

As always... you talk a good game but when it comes down to brass tacks you turn very very unwilling to present what you claim to know.

Well, this is yet another we can chalk up to matt not having any proof whatsoever. Close thread.

ok matt, could you be courteous enough to not make claims that you refuse to provide evidence of in future? or is that a little too much to ask?

what kind of claims are you referring too? all I said is I'm holding back. you could be courteous enough to not make excuses when I do back up my claims. If you make excuses, what's the point of upping the miracle level and giving you stuff for that too? If you can't even believe a persons testimony of something like cancer being healed over night, there's no reason for me to give you anything else.

I've determined that you won't believe what I tell you even when I give you a case documented so there is no point. This thread can be done so far as I'm concerned.

I DID. PAGE 19.

There are documented events, but you can't do anything scientific to understand something outside of nature. Here is a BBC report about a woman who had problems walking....click here for link

What also begs the question is in New Testament, the apostle Paul was able to "heal" many people, yet at the same time God wouldn't take away his own physical infirmity that Paul called his "thorn in the flesh."

Of course, Paul does give reason why God didn't take it away but I'm using this as a suggestion for possibilities. God has reasons for what he does and doesn't do and they are always far bigger reasons than we selfishly understand.

You need to pay attention rather than listen to the misinformation of others such as crunkmoose.

the point is that cancer can be cured without any supernatural presence. a limb cannot be regrown (at this time) without said presence.

i'm just pointing this out since you obviously forgot to read previous posts. i don't expect you to change your decision about whether you will provide evidence, especially given the fact you have absolutely none for this sort of thing.

no healed amputees. strange.

This has nothing to do with amputees. This is someone who couldn't walk who was then able to walk. Something that happens routinely without any supernatural effect, even if you think this case does have that.

It's certainly not proof of healing, and completely irrelevant to my point about god not healing amputees.

Same old song and dance...

"You won't listen! So I won't present any more evidence.. though I have more, and this is the good stuff that actually proves it."

and

"I already did answer you... though I've wasted a few pages since that time on backpeddling and pussyfooting about not giving you an answer"

Yeah, this thread can be closed now... because you, Matt, are doing the exact same thing you always do.
