What he would care about is that humans are taking care of each other and treating each other with love, charity, and understanding in his name (and not in his name).

well the bible does talk about fiery hell in revelation. Either way, "eternal punishment" isn't exactly good any way you look at it. It's not like fire is somehow a worse punishment.

Anyways, Hell was never for us. He isn't looking around trying to send people to Hell. If he was trying....
a) He wouldn't have belittled himself to basically die for us
b) He would just toss us all in because we've all screwed up. Every single one of us.

Hell was made for satan and his demons. Not us.

I agree. I just believe that handing our money over to government programs is not doing that. The only one who has my best interests in mind for the poor is me.

well he also says we can have life through Jesus Christ. basically death by one man, and life by one man.

it's not really a "threat" of hell from God. It's more like a big rock is rolling down the hill to roll you over and God is saying, "get out of the way because it has to roll that direction! get in the lamborghini I put down there so you can drive away!"
