Seriously? Look at Lidge's stats. You honestly think we dont have a reason to be down on him? He has the highest ERA in the Majors.

Exactly. No one is expecting him to repeat last year, though it wouldve been amazing had he done that. I'm sure no one would really mind if he was even just mediocre at best, but he is fucking awful this season.

I have plenty of faith in the Phillies just not Brad Lidge. and I'm tired of the fairweather shit I watch pretty much every game.

Saying that lidge is sucking cock right now has nothing to do with being fairweather. It means that we want a change, no one expected him to put the exact kind of numbers that he did last year, perfect seasons by closers has only happened one other time if my memory serves correctly (eric gagne). Being fairweather would be saying I hate the phillies im not a fan anymore till lidge is gone. But something obviously isn't right, maybe he still has some nagging injuries and just isn't right yet. The bottom line is, if we can't close out games, we're not gonna be able to win the division.

easy when they arent playing for anything? Well in the 25+ years that I have been watching them (in which they have played for alot ) the only player I have not supported was billy wagner. Didnt like him before he was a met dont like him now. I think he is a dick of a player.

hah i can understand that, i hated wagner too even when he was here. there are definitely some guys i wouldnt like even if they were on the phillies, such as reyes.
i support lidge, i hope he does well but he has not for a long time and i think the appropriate thing is he needs to be benched, if not bumped to the minors. it sucks but thats how it has to happen sometimes
