obviously if youre just looking for sex, these are probably things you'd consider first, but they're not things that last in the long term. personality has to be considered first and foremost.

everyone is different. like i just said in my last post, it's mostly younger dudes who have this mentality. i'm not negating the fact that older guys don't think that way too, but the majority are young and shallow, with a few exceptions. i was one of them and for the most part, i'm still pretty fucking shallow. however, if i meet a moderately attractive girl and i am floored by who she is/how she presents herself/etc(this is insanely rare) then my whole attitude changes. for everyone, it is looks before anything. the physical aspect draws you in. without being attracted to them physically, you would barely ever know if they had a great or terrible personality.

i've been really physically attracted to both of my past girlfriends, so its hard for me to say if i would ever go for a girlfriend who wasn't really good looking. i would like to think that i consider personality first. i'm pretty sure i do. i know stupid one night stands i've had haven't been with the best looking girls.

Minus the blind date I went on with an ugly dude. We hit it off because he was really cool/hilarious.

i don't think guys and girls are really all that different in what they look for.

you'd have to be an idiot to think you could base a relationship around what each other look like. i think a lot of the time physical attraction might be what draws people together, but you can tell within 10 minutes of talking to someone if you're going to get along well with them or not.
personality is always going to win.

okay, i should have mentioned that in my previous post. okay well, say this 'ugly dude' wasn't your friend and you saw him across the room, would you approach him? i mean, i don't know you but honestly i doubt you would have. i have dated/hooked up with girls who were friends of mine before, but i can say for certain, if i didn't know who they were, i wouldn't just walk up to them and initiate a conversation.

"Daaaaaamn. Check out the personality on her!"

I am in total agreement with you that personality is always going to win. I dated the hottest of all hotties for 3 years and he was the true definition of douche.

it seems now a days girls just look for guys with "money in da bank!"
