edit: found it. Is it the Sunn/Emperor set up? how much do you want for just the cab?

i wouldn't say your price is incredibly high, but certainly on the higher end of the spectrum. the reissues aren't as desireable as the older models, $1,000 and slightly higher seems to be the common asking price for just the head. add another 400 or 500 for the cab and you're not far off.

With that said, its been a buyers market lately, especially with higher priced items. In my recent experiences, small stuff like pedals have remained fairly consistent in price, but when in comes to amps and higher priced gear, you'll have to sit on it a while to get what you want for it. especially on craigslist.

the cab was expensive as fuck. if i was doing them separately i'd like to get $600 out of the cab. i've been trading/selling/buyng gear forever but with amps everything becomes 10x more complicated due to shipping costs and them being more expensive in general. plus, i live in west virginia and probably shouldn't count on a local buyer anytime soon.

seriously, if somebody wants/anybody knows anybody who would want either/both - SUNN/fender model T // emperor 4x12 in merlot w/ white grill and centered logo w/ V-30s.

obviously i'm flexible as i'm dead broke and really need money. i'd possibly do partial trades.

i love broke ass craigslist deals. i think next week im scoring a mesa dual rec (older 2 channel version), roadcase with 6 space rack, TCE processor, bbe maximizer, and a cab...for a grand. scoreee, even though im probably just flipping most of it.

that is a deal, mesa's have retained their value really well. The head alone will bring back around 3/4 of your investment easily. Love craigslist.

Just picked up this little guy. Will post more pics when I have it set up with my mesa cab and pedalboard. The cab in the picture is just a shitty B-52 4x12 I have in my room.

If it weren't for the sentimental attachment, I'd throw my rectifier and ultra plus in the trash. This little Orange has so much awesome gain it's absurd (pushed through an LPB-1 if I want to go doomy/muddy). Now I need to build a 2X12 with some P12Ns. fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

Added an oversized cat, oversized 2x12, blanket mod for the 4x12/scratch post and EL34 mod.

I just put a crisp set of JJ 6L6's and a high gain JJ preamp set in my 5150. I was on the verge of trying to dump the amp off for something else, but it sounds fucking incredible now. Way stoked on it.

I'm also about to buy a 60th Anniversary HH strat off of my homey from The Stereo State. So jazzed on it.
