Biography:
Stench began in 1999 in Woodstuck, NY, with Thomas- vocals; Seamus- guitar; Jack- bass; and James- drums. In 2004 we went through several line-up changes, James left the band and we took on Dave, who was also in Citizens in Disbelief with Thomas, as the new drummer. Over the next few months Dave left and Heather took over on drums. As Stench was still falling apart, Thomas and Heather started State Sponsored Terrorists, and Stench eventually called it quits.
As State Sponsored Terrorists, we got our friends Steven and Alex to join up, with Steven playing guitar, and Alex and second vocal duties. We then recruited Jack to fill the spot of a bassist. State Sponsored Terrorists lasted a brief, but memorable, time.
In the summer of 2008, Stench decided to get back together, back with Thomas, Jack, and James coming back to drum... we decided to take on Steven from State Sponsored Terrorists to take over on guitar. We decided also since we basically just combined the two bands to adopt some of the State Sponsored Terrorists songs ("Horrors of War" and "Cities Ablaze"). We've been playing shows and writing new songs since.
