Biography:
Alzheimer formed in 1999 but various line-up changes kept the band from playing much around until 2001 : however, from then on alzheimer appeared in various local shows and as supporting act on the local dates of many italian hardcore bands. In 2003 alzheimer took part in the compilation "let the music do the talking vol 1" by w*uckrecords (www.wuckrecords.com) featuring various sardinian underground bands. In 2004 an abrupt line-up change led the band to a forced stop , but in the summer the arrival of a new drummer served as a new starting point :after some live appearances alzheimer started recording its first CD, "dopo l'ennesimo inverno" , out on February 2005. In the last months of 2006 Alzheimer recorded 4 new tracks, which were planned to be part of a 3 way split cd. After a lenghty series of difficulties and misunderstandings (and once again a new drummer to complete the lineup) these 4 tracks are slated to appear as a new ep, out in August 2008. In these years alzheimer shared the stage with many acts, such as reprisal, PHP, face the fact, payback, agathocles, cripple bastards, discharge, la crisi, to kill , sick of it all, dirty power game, laghetto, santantonio and many others.
