Insult 2 Injury is best described by the members of the band as a totally unique style of our own personalities, which are common to the personalities of most modern teenagers. We started as a cover band that was mostly rock. Now with a screamo/metal feel in our music, we are finally playing music that expresses our generation. If you listen to one or two of our songs you could put us in many genres, but if you listen to all of them you will see that we don't fit into just one, two, or even three types of music. Some of our influences are Metallica, Atreyu, Thrice, Pantera, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Rammstein, Rush, Megadeth, Queen, Underoath, Darkest Hour, The Casualties, Tool, and Hawthorne Heights just to name a few. Insult 2 Injury is located about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, in the small town of Derry. We are four friends that are always having a great time together, and it shows in our music and our performances. We formed a band when we were in 8th grade. Now as seniors and juniors in high school we have proven our dedication and commitment to working together in order to pursue our music careers. We are in our band for the love and appreciation of music, and the influence it has on kids today. We have a message, and we want to get it out there. The best way to accomplish this is through our music. We all listen and love different kinds of music. This is why we believe our sound is our own. We are a hard working band, that will so anything for a shot at taking our music to the next level. We would appreciate your support and help in our music careers.
